Correction: Concerning ABC Opening Its First Islamic Branch In Cairo

Amwal Al Ghad recently published a wrong story stating that Central Bank of Egypt approval granted to Arab Banking Corporation (ABC) to launch its first Islamic banking branch in Cairo.
For clarification, the bank’s correct name is “Société Arabe Internationale de Banque” was unfortunately misspelled, stating Arab Banking Corporation (ABC) in the story.
Worth mentioning that the Société Arabe Internationale de Banque (SAIB) had the central bank’s approval on issuing new Islamic compliant products entitled “Men & Salwa” in a step to meet the increasing demand on Islamic banking products.
