Crédit Agricole Egypt consolidated profits reach $81mln in H1

Crédit Agricole Egypt consolidated net profits reached 2.51 billion Egyptian pounds during the first half (H1) of 2023, including minority interest, the bank reported on Thursday.

The profits were higher than those recorded a year earlier, which were 1.01 billion pounds.

According to the interim consolidated financial results, during that period of 2023, the net interest income reached 3.24 billion pounds, with an annual leap from 1.64 billion pounds.

Total assets rose to 93.71 billion pounds on the 30th of June 2023 and clients’ deposits climbed to 74.98 billion pounds.
