Credit Agricole To Pick Greek Unit Buyer Monday,Proto Thema Says

Credit Agricole SA on Monday, Aug. 27, will pick for exclusive discussions one of the three Greek banks that want to buy Emporiki Bank SA, the French lender’s Greek unit, Proto Thema said, without citing anyone.

The exclusive negotiations will be with National Bank of Greece SA, Eurobank Ergasias SA or Alpha Bank for the purchase of Emporiki, the Athens-based newspaper said in a preview of an article to be published in tomorrow’s edition.
