CréditAgricole Egypt distributes the prizes to the winners ofthe competition Series L’affaire du Coffret
Crédit Agricole Egypt held a ceremony to deliver the prizes to the first round of the winners of the competition of l’dAffaire u Coffret. This is a radio detective series that has been launched in partnership between Crédit Agricole Egypt, the French Institute in Egypt, Radio France International and Mega FM. These series aim at developing the French language skills of alllisteners through the story’sintriguing events.
The ceremony has taken place in Crédit Agricole Egypt’s new Gezirah Branch. Winners received each a Crédit Agricole Egypt Prepaid card loaded with the prize amount worth EGP 1000. Prizes were distributed by the Bank’s Head of Commercial and Retail Banking Mr Jean-Philippe Martin, The French Counsellor for Cultural Cooperation and Manager of the French Institute in Egypt Mr. Jean-Pierre Debaere, and Mrs. Naëla Gabr the representative of Egypt in the Permanent Francophony Council and Assistant for the Minister of Foreign Affairs
This partnership reflects Crédit Agricole Egypt’s ongoing commitment towards the Egyptian community and in particular to culture and education. Crédit Agricole Egypt chose this radio series to support the development of French language skills in Egypt through widely-accessible, engaging initiatives which make the learning experience fun.
The detective series airs from March4 – May 24 from Sunday to Thursday at 7:30 am on 92.7 MEGA FM. A rerun is also aired everyday at 11:30 am and at 8:00 pm. The series tells the story of a foreign journalist in France named Lucas who wakes up one morning to find himself involved in the disappearance of a mysterious woman. He decides to investigate into the matter, but he has one obstacle: he does not speak French. On Thursday of every week, listeners will be asked one question and will have an opportunity to win a prize by sending their answers via SMS before midnight every Friday. Winners areannounced on-air every Sunday and will receive their prize from Credit Agricole Egypt.
