Russian exports to unfriendly countries make up approximately 15 per cent of total shipments, according to Veronika Nikishina, General Director of the Russian Export Centre. In an interview with Rossiya 24 TV, Nikishina emphasised that demand for Russian goods remains strong, despite geopolitical tensions.
She noted that the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), neighbouring countries, Southeast Asia, the Persian Gulf, Africa, Latin America, and Iran are also key markets for Russian exports.
