Deposits at Egypt banks hit new high at August-end

Deposits at banks operating in Egypt hit new record, rising to 3.124 trillion Egyptian pounds ($177 billion) at the end of August, the country’s central bank said in recent report released Tuesday.

In August, deposits stood at 3.070 trillion pounds.
