Dollar averages 54.33/54.43 pounds against Egyptian pound at close – 1 April, 2026
The US dollar eased slightly against the Egyptian pound in Thursday’s closing trade, holding within a narrow range across major banks amid steady market conditions.
As of 16:35 Cairo time (14:35 GMT), the dollar averaged around 54.33 pounds for buying and 54.43 pounds for selling, according to data compiled from leading banks.
Exchange rates at several of Egypt’s largest banks were as follows:
