Dubai’s total real estate transactions amounted to 14,964 worth around AED 48.21 billion during the first quarter of 2020, according to latest data by the Dubai Land Department (DLD).
The number of land transactions reached 2,689 at a total value of AED 32.152 billion during the first quarter of 2020, with 1,070 sales valued at AED 9.179 billion and 1,377 mortgages worth AED 19.606 billion.
As for real estate units, the transactions totalled 10,548, valued at AED 13.181 billion.
At the same time, Dubai witnessed 2,877 building transactions at a total value of AED 1.727 billion.
Mortgages represented 46.2 percent of the total transactions at a total value of AED 22.312 billion, while sales accounted for 45 percent of the transactions worth AED 21.639 billion.
