The Egyptian-American Enterprise Fund’s (EAEF) investment in Egypt has reached about $267 million since 2011 to date, according to its vice chairman, Nada Shousha, who revealed this on Sunday.
Shousha added in an exclusive statement that the total size of the Fund’s funding portfolio has reached $500 million so far.
She also noted that the Fund had invested in various sectors within Egypt, including the financial sector, such as Contact and Fawry companies, along with the health and educatio

EAEF invests in private enterprises in Egypt that contribute to long-term, inclusive, and sustainable economic growth. It also seeks to attract foreign investors to Egypt, promote commercial best practises, and improve corporate governance.
It is worth mentioning that it encourages entrepreneurial activities and environmental accountability and favours investments that have a demonstrated positive effect on other Egyptian businesses.
