Eagle Chemicals Company targets finishing the biggest factory in Middle East for producing polymers at the end of 2016, managing director John W. Bishay said Sunday.
Speaking to Amwal Al Ghad, Bishay stated that the new factory is set to established with investment cost worth 250 million Egyptian pounds (US$ 31.9 million) and set to operate with capacity estimated at 160,000 tonnes annually. He added that 60% of factory’s production will be imported.
The factory is set to be executed among two phases; the first phase will be finished in March 2016 with the capacity of 60,000 tonnes while the second phase is set to be finished at the end of 2016 with the capacity of 100,000 tonnes.
