EBRD invests €21.7m in Greek real estate redevelopment

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is investing €21.7 million in the P&E Investments consortium in Greece, alongside Dimand and Premia Properties, for a 20 per cent stake in the group, according to the bank’s statement.

The funds will support Skyline, a newly-established entity with a portfolio of 460 commercial and residential properties, aimed at redevelopment, repositioning, or trade sale.

The consortium will control a 65 per cent stake in Skyline, with Alpha Bank retaining the remaining 35 per cent. The project focuses on transforming prime assets to meet high sustainability standards, including LEED Gold and BREEAM Very Good certifications.

It also incorporates green leases and energy efficiency initiatives to boost the real estate sector’s environmental performance.

This marks the latest EBRD initiative in Greece, where the bank has invested over €8 billion in 116 projects since 2015, supporting economic recovery and sustainable growth.
