ECA And Anti-Dumping, Subsidy Department Organize Workshop On Preventive Measures

The Egyptian Competition Authority (ECA) in association with the Anti-Dumping, Subsidy and Safeguard Department are organizing a workshop on Sunday at the ECA’s headquarters about the preventive measures economies between establishing monopolistic entities and protecting the national industry.

The workshop will be attended by Mona El-Garf, Chairman of Egyptian Competition Authority (ECA) and Ibrahim El-Segany- Head of the Anti-Dumping, Subsidy and Safeguard Department. Also a group of workers from the two authorities will attend to exchange their views.

The Anti-Dumping, Subsidy and Safeguard Department will explain how to implement the preventive measures, while the ECA will elucidate the impact of these decisions on the competition in the markets. Later on, the two sides will discuss how to overcome the monopolistic entities.

It is worth noting that this workshop comes to activate the cooperation protocol signed between the two authorities, in the framework of enhancing the cooperation and coordination in order to exchange the experiences, information and integration in joint issues.
