EGP 965 mln deal to double Alexandria overhead line
The Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company (EETC) signed a contract with Madkour Projects Company on Monday for the implementation of the double-circuit overhead line associated with the Alexandria and West Delta Electricity area, as stated in the company’s announcement.
The project’s contract aims to connect the ND7/ND8 stations with a length of about 85 km and a voltage of 220 kV, on turnkey basis.
The statement revealed that the project costs around 965 million Egyptian pounds, and the funding comes from strategic projects included in the Egyptian Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy’s plan.
