EGP drops vs USD at Tuesday’s trading close

The Egyptian pound (EGP) depreciated against the US dollar (USD) on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, according to data from the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).
The CBE reported an average buying rate of EGP 48.5423 per dollar and a selling rate of EGP 48.6423, compared to Monday’s rates of EGP 48.4547 for buying and EGP 48.5547, for selling.
