EGP inches up against US Dollar at Thursday’s close

The Egyptian pound gained slightly against the US dollar on Thursday, March 20, 2025, according to data from the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).

The CBE reported an average buying rate of EGP 50.5161 per dollar and a selling rate of EGP 50.6161, down from Wednesday’s rates of EGP 50.5933 and EGP 50.6933, respectively.
