EGP opens Monday with a minor uptick vs. USD
The Egyptian Pound (EGP) saw a minor increase against the US Dollar (USD) at early trading on Monday, April 8, 2024.
The National Bank of Egypt, Banque Misr, Banque de Caire, and the Commercial International Bank (CIB) set their buying and selling rates at EGP 47.36 and EGP 47.46, respectively.
On the other hand, Faisal Islamic Bank and the United Bank established a buying rate of EGP 47.30 and a selling rate of EGP 47.40.
QNB ALAHLI determined a buying rate of EGP 47.35 and a selling rate of EGP 47.45.
Furthermore, the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank set their buying rate at EGP 47.64 and their selling rate at EGP 47.74, while the Arab African International Bank determined their buying rate at EGP 47.37 and their selling rate at EGP 47.47.
The Housing and Development Bank provided slightly lower rates, with a buying rate of EGP 47.10 and a selling rate of EGP 47.20.
