EGP rises vs. USD at Monday’s close

The Egyptian pound (EGP) rose slightly against the US dollar (USD) on Monday, March 17, 2025, according to data from the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).

The CBE reported an average USD buying rate of EGP 50.4581 and a selling rate of EGP 50.5581, down from Sunday’s rates of EGP 50.5414 for buying and EGP 50.6414 for selling.
