EGP slightly up against USD on Wednesday’s close

EGP sees significant drop vs. USD at Wednesday's close

The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) reported the average exchange rates for the US dollar (USD) against the Egyptian pound (EGP) at the end of trading on Wednesday.

According to the CBE’s website, the USD’s buying rate stood at EGP 49.05 and the selling rate at EGP 49.15 versus the dollar.

This marks a rise from Tuesday’s rates, when the dollar was trading at EGP 49.31 for buying and EGP 49.41 for selling.
