During Tuesday closing session, the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) managed to decline to eventually reach EGP 250 million as the capital market has amounted to EGP 387.515 billion.
The main index, EGX30 dived by 0.37% to end at 5566.89 p. EGX20 went down by 0.28% to close at 6465.63p.
Meanwhile, the mid- and small-cap, EGX70 rose by 0.60% to conclude at 517.27pts. Price index EGX100 also went up by 0.14% to finish at 862.6p.
Traded volume reached 156.269 million securities worth EGP 670.773 billion, exchanged 34.393 thousand transactions.
This was after trading in 172 listed securities; 101 advanced 51 declined while 20 keeping their previous levels.
Non-Arab Foreigners were net buyers seizing 20.4% of the total markets, with a net equity of EGP 40.240 million excluding the deals. Arabs also were net sellers seizing 7.81% with a net equity of EGP 19.185 excluding the deals.
On the other hand, Egyptians tend to profit-taking transactions as they were net sellers seizing 71.79% with a net equity of EGP 59.425 million.

EGX’s leading shares witnessed unsteady performance.
Orascom Telecom Media & Technology Holding:
Orascom Telecom Media & Technology Holding (OTMT.CA) rose by 0.01% to close at EGP 0.53.
Orascom Construction Industries:
Orascom Construction Industries (OCIC.CA) sank by 5.22% to conclude at EGP 273.21.
Orascom Telecom Holding:
Orascom Telecom Holding (OTH) (ORTE.CA) maintain with no change to end at EGP 3.74.
EFG-Hermes:
EFG-Hermes Holding (HRHO.CA) soard by 0.49% to end at EGP 11.44.
