EGX announces Eid El-Fitr holiday schedule for 2025

The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) has set the Eid El-Fitr holiday schedule for 2025, with trading to be suspended from Sunday, March 30, until Tuesday, April 1. Trading will resume on Wednesday, April 2.

However, the dates remain subject to change based on the lunar calendar. If adjustments are necessary, the holiday period will shift to Monday, March 31, through Wednesday, April 2, with trading resuming on Thursday, April 3.

EGX will confirm the final schedule closer to the holiday, depending on the official sighting of the moon.
