EGX closes all green on April 29th

Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed green on Monday. The main index, EGX30 jumped by 5.57 per cent, to 26,011.28 points.

The small to mid-size enterprises’ index, EGX70 went up by 2.59 per cent, to 5,862.39 points.

The index, EGX100 index climbed by 3.43 per cent, to 8,376.11 points.

The total market cap reached 1,764,734,357,129 Egyptian pounds.

The Arabs and Non-Arab Foreigners were net buyers with 2,801,985,367 Egyptian pounds, and 3,561,715,441 Egyptian pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, the Egyptians’ transactions were net sellers with sales reaching 6,363,700,808 Egyptian pounds.

Top gainers on Monday

The shares of Talaat Moustafa Group Holding (TMGH.CA) rose by 13.73 per cent, to close at the price of 58.000 Egyptian pounds a share.

The shares of Orascom Construction PLC (ORAS.CA) climbed by 12.82 per cent, to trade at the price of 253.890 Egyptian pounds a share.

The shares of GB Corp (GBCO.CA) jumped by 10.86 per cent, to the purchasing price of 10.310 Egyptian pounds a share.

Top losers on Monday

The shares of Samad Misr -EGYFERT (SMFR.CA) fell by 13.39 per cent, to close at 41.900 Egyptian pounds a share.

The shares of Alexandria Spinning & Weaving (SPINALEX) (SPIN.CA) declined by 9.09 per cent, to close at 4.500 Egyptian pounds a share.

The shares of Gulf Canadian Real Estate Investment Co. (CCRS.CA) dropped by 4.97 per cent, to close at the price of 18.720 Egyptian pounds a share.
