EGX closes all green on April 9th

Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed all in green on Thursday. The main index, EGX30 jumped by 0.05 per cent, to 26,003.16 points.

The small to mid-size enterprises’ index, EGX70 surged by 0.13 per cent, to 5,758.37 points.

The index, EGX100 index climbed by 0.02 per cent, to 8,253.69 points.

The total market cap reached 1,758,988,049,852 Egyptian pounds.

Arab and Non-Arabs Foreigners transactions were mainly buying with a total of 246,418,521 Egyptian pounds, and 7,120,827,929 Egyptian pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, the Egyptians were net sellers with 7,367,246,450 Egyptian pounds.

Top gainers on Thursday

The shares of Ceramic & Porcelain (PRCL.CA) rose by 10.21 per cent, to close at the price of 8.310 Egyptian pounds a share.

The shares of Egyptian Kuwaiti Holding-EGP (EKHO.CA) climbed by 7.15 per cent, to trade at the price of 32.820 Egyptian pounds a share.

The shares of The Arab Dairy Products Co. Arab Dairy – Panda (ADPC.CA) jumped by 5.38 per cent, to the purchasing price of 1.842 Egyptian pounds a share.

Top losers on Thursday

The shares of Golden Textiles & Clothes Wool (GTWL.CA) fell by 10.08 per cent, to close at 27.920 Egyptian pounds a share.

The shares of QALA For Financial Investments (CCAP.CA – CCAPP.CA) declined by 7.50 per cent, to close at 2.590 Egyptian pounds a share.

The shares of Export Development Bank of Egypt (EDBE) (EXPA.CA) dropped by 6.40 per cent, to close at the price of 19.310 Egyptian pounds a share.
