EGX closes all red on June 3rd

Egypt’s stock exchange (EGX) closed all red on Monday, with the main index, EGX30 going down by 0.13 per cent to 26,834.47 points.

The small to mid-size enterprises’ index, EGX70 sunk by 0.69 per cent, to 5,856.31 points.

The index, EGX100 index dropped by 0.24 per cent, to 8,502.02 points.

The total market cap reached 1,802,595,206,745 Egyptian pounds.

The Egyptian and Arab investors were net buyers with total of 169,605,761 Egyptian pounds, and 46,186,846 Egyptian pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, Non-Arab Foreigners were net sellers with a total of 215,792,606 Egyptian pounds.

 

Top gainers on Sunday

The shares of Egyptian Financial & Industrial (EFIC.CA) plunged by 10.70 per cent, to close at 86.000 Egyptian pounds a share.

The shares of QALA For Financial Investments (CCAP.CA – CCAPP.CA) climbed by 10.67 per cent, to trade at the price of 1.970 Egyptian pounds a share.

The shares of Development & Engineering Consultants (DAPH.CA) inched up by 8.91 per cent, to the purchasing price of 62.840 Egyptian pounds a share.

Top losers on Sunday

The shares of Egyptian Arabian (cmar) Securities Brokerage EAC (EASB.CA) plunged by 17.86 per cent, to close at 3.770 Egyptian pounds a share.

The shares of Dice Sport & Casual Wear (DSCW.CA) went down by 10.54 per cent, to close at 1.273 Egyptian pounds a share.

The shares of GTEX for Commercial and Industrial Investments (GTEX.CA) dropped by 10.00 per cent, to close at the price of 0.036 Egyptian pounds a share.
