Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed green on Thursday. The main index, EGX30 went up by 1.96 per cent, to 30,937.69 points.
The Shariah index, EGX33, jumped by 2.63 per cent to 2,955.5 points.
The small to mid-size enterprises’ index, EGX70 climbed by 0.43 per cent, to 7,100.28 points.
The index, EGX100 index rose by 0.82 per cent, to 10,169.55 points.
The total market cap reached 2,092,683,908,467 Egyptian pounds.
The Arabs and Non-Arab Foreigners were net buyers with a total of 656,540,774 Egyptian pounds, and 1,677,494,463 Egyptian pounds, respectively. On the other hand, the Egyptians were sellers with 2,334,035,237 Egyptian pounds.
Risers on Thursday
- The shares of Alexandria New Medical Center (AMES.CA) rose by 19.98 per cent, to close at the price of 10.030 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of Palm Hills Development Company (PHDC.CA) climbed by 7.24 per cent, to trade at the price of 6.370 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of Acrow Misr (ACRO.CA) jumped by 6.37 per cent, to the purchasing price of 73.150 Egyptian pounds a share.
Fallers on Thursday
- The shares of Osool ESB Securities Brokerage (EBSC.CA) fell by 7.88 per cent, to close at 0.421 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of El Kahera El Watania Investment (KWIN.CA) declined by 7.61 per cent, to close at 32.660 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of Minapharm Pharmaceuticals (MIPH.CA) dropped by 6.22 per cent, to close at the price of 159.950 Egyptian pounds a share.
