Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed in green on Wednesday. The main index EGX30 went up by 1.23 per cent, to 31,250.64 points.
The Shariah index, EGX33, jumped by 1.88 per cent, to 3,050.5 points.
The small to mid-size enterprises’ index, EGX70 surged by 1.18 per cent, to 7,420.51 points.
The index, EGX100 index climbed by 1.31 per cent, to 10,563.7 points.
The total market cap reached 2,142,266,745,889 Egyptian pound. 2,142,266,745,889
The Egyptians and non-Arab foreigners were net buyers with a total of 2,864,952,872 Egyptian pounds and 320,868,057 Egyptian pound, respectively. Meanwhile, the Arabs were net sellers with total of 3,185,820,929 Egyptian pound.

- Cairo Educational Services (CAED.CA) shares rose by 19.99 per cent, to close at the price of 33.740 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Alexandria New Medical Center (AMES.CA) shares climbed by 19.93 per cent, to trade at the price of 20.760 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Egyptian Gulf Marseilia For Real Estate Investment (MAAL.CA) shares jumped by 10.51 per cent, to the purchasing price of 3.890 Egyptian pounds a share.
Top losers on Wednesday
- Contact Financial Holding (CNFN.CA) shares fell by 4.02 per cent, to close at 5.010 Egyptian pounds a share.
- October Pharma (OCPH.CA) shares dropped by 3.48 per cent, to close at the price of 122.530 Egyptian pounds a share.
- South Cairo & Giza Mills & Bakeries (SCFM.CA) shares declined by 3.02 per cent, to close at 39.440 Egyptian pounds a share.
