Egypt’s stock exchange (EGX) closed green on Wednesday, with the main index, EGX30 rising by 0.91 per cent, to 29,667.71 points.
The small to mid-size enterprises’ index, EGX70 surged by 1.18 per cent, to 6,833.69 points.
The index, EGX100 index inched up by 1.17 per cent, to 9,745.75 points.
The total market cap reached 2,003,189,276,018 Egyptian pounds.
Egyptians and Arab transactions were mainly sellers with a total of 3,177,777,793 Egyptian pounds, and 566,582,110 Egyptian pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, the non-Arab foreigners were net buyers with 3,744,359,903 Egyptian pounds.

The shares Six of October Development & Investment (SODIC) (OCDI.CA) jumped by 15.76 per cent, to close at the price of 53.110 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of Mena Touristic & Real Estate Investment (MENA.CA) climbed by 12.30 per cent, to trade at the price of 1.744 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of El Kahera El Watania Investment (KWIN.CA) soared by 10.22 per cent, to the purchasing price of 24.810 Egyptian pounds a share.
Top losers on Wednesday
The shares of Saudi Egyptian Investment & Finance (SEIG.CA – SEIGA.CA) dived by 13.66 per cent, to close at 62.660 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of Alexandria National Company for Financial Investment (ANFI.CA) sank by 11.18 per cent, to close at 8.900 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of Misr Hotels (MHOT.CA) went down by 8.15 per cent, to close at the price of 120.330 Egyptian pounds a share.
