Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed in green area on Monday.
The main index, EGX30 went up by 0.41 per cent, to 31,587.04 points.
The Shariah index, EGX33 jumped 0.90 to 3,126.92 points.
The small to mid-size enterprises’ index, EGX70 soared by 0.64 per cent, to 7,538.3 points.
The index, EGX100 index climbed by 0.59 per cent, to 10,732.02 points.
The total market cap reached 2,184,747,109,961 Egyptian pounds.
Egyptians and Arabs were net sellers with 11,311,096,536 Egyptian pounds, and 312,315,940 Egyptian pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, the Non-Arab Foreigners were buyers with 11,623,412,476 Egyptian pounds.
Top gainers on Monday
- Sabaa International Company For Pharmaceutical and Chemical (SIPC.CA) shares rose by 19.96 per cent, to close at the price of 1.304 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Osool ESB Securities Brokerage (EBSC.CA) shares climbed by 19.83 per cent, to trade at the price of 0.568 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Egyptian Media Production City (MPRC.CA) shares jumped by 10.22 per cent, to the purchasing price of 20.600 Egyptian pounds a share.
Top losers on Monday
- Alexandria New Medical Center (AMES.CA) shares fell by 7.94 per cent, to close at 27.480 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Misr Beni Suef Cement (MBSC.CA) shares declined by 3.60 per cent, to close at 39.920 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Egyptian Arabian(Themar)Comp. For Securities&Bonds Brok. EAC (EASB.CA) shares dropped by 2.82 per cent, to close at the price of 4.480 Egyptian pounds a share.
