Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed in the green area on Monday.
- The benchmark index, EGX30, went up by 0.31 per cent to 41,731.68 points.
- The Shariah index, EGX33, climbed by 0.36 per cent to 4,519.82 points.
- The index, EGX35-LV, advanced by 0.17 per cent to 4,630.32 points.
- The SMEs index, EGX70, jumped by 0.63 per cent, to 13,160.84 points.
- The EGX100 index rose by 0.50 per cent, to 17,413.33 points.
The total market cap reached 2,975,595,153,709 Egyptian pounds.
The Egyptians and Arabs and were net buyers with 2,297,904,063 Egyptian pounds and 284,722,264 Egyptian pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, the Non-Arab Foreigners were net sellers with 2,582,626,327 Egyptian pounds.
Top gainers on Monday
- The shares of Catalyst Partners Middle East –CPME rose by 20.00 per cent, to close at the price of 14.400 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of South Cairo & Giza Mills & Bakeries climbed by 11.31 per cent, closing at the price of 284.400 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of Arab Real Estate Investment CO.-ALICO jumped by 9.56 per cent, to the purchasing price of 2.750 Egyptian pounds a share.
Top losers on Monday
- The shares of Subscription Rights Of Copper For Commercial Investment&Real fell by 6.20 per cent, to close at 0.121 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of Gharbia Islamic Housing Development declined by 4.89 per cent, to close at 46.100 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of Mohandes Insurance dropped by 4.24 per cent, to close at the price of 29.350 Egyptian pounds a share.
