Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed in the green area on Sunday.
- The benchmark index, EGX30, jumped by 1.78 per cent, to 40,753.45 points.
- The Shariah index, EGX33, climbed by 2.53 per cent to 4,317.66 points.
- The index EGX35-LV rose by 1.04 per cent to 4,494.38 points.
- The SMEs index, EGX70, advanced by 0.38 per cent to 12,291.29 points.
- The EGX100 index went up by 1.08 per cent, to 16,399.17 points.
The total market cap reached 2,881,359,160,443 Egyptian pounds.
The Egyptians were net buyers with a total of 73,519,237 Egyptian pounds. On the other hand, the Arabs and non-Arab foreigners were net sellers with 69,200,234 Egyptian pounds and 4,319,003 Egyptian pounds, respectively.
Top gainers on Sunday
- The shares of Delta For Printing & Packaging surged by 20.00 per cent, closing at 127.620 Egyptian pounds per share.
- The shares of National Printing rose by 17.10 per cent, reaching 24.930 Egyptian pounds per share.
- The shares of QALA For Financial Investments went up by 14.60 per cent to close at 3.690 Egyptian pounds a share.
Top losers on Sunday
- The shares of Digitize for Investment And Technology went down by 19.92 per cent to close at 6.350 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of A Capital Holding dropped by 11.77 per cent to close at 8.470 per cent a share.
- The shares of Gogreen for Agricultural Investment sank by 10.51 per cent, to close at 2.300 Egyptian pounds a share.
