Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed in the green area on Sunday.
- The benchmark index, EGX30, climbed by 1.89 per cent, to 47,276.43 points.
- The Shariah index, EGX33, jumped by 2.37 per cent to 5,025.92 points.
- The index EGX35-LV soared by 1.02 per cent to 5,367.53 points.
- The SMEs index, EGX70, rose by 0.73 per cent to 12,846.98 points.
- The EGX100 index leaped by 0.98 per cent to 17,898.2 points.
The total market cap reached 3,332,182,993,769 Egyptian pounds.
Egyptians and non-Arab foreigners were net buyers with 1,785,739,409 pounds and 146,675,166 pounds, respectively. On the other hand, Arabs were net sellers, offloading 1,932,414,574 pounds.
Top gainers
- The shares of October Pharma surged by 20.00 per cent, closing at 280.950 pounds per share.
- The shares of Misr Oils & Soap rose by 20.00 per cent to 175.980 pounds per share.
- The shares of Egyptian Gulf Marseilia For Real Estate Investment went up by 14.45 per cent to close at 4.990 pounds per share.
Top losers
- The shares of Subscription Rights Of Arab Developers Holding -2 went down by 15.71 per cent to close at 0.059 pounds per share.
- The shares of Arab Developers Holding dropped by 4.12 per cent to close at 0.186 pounds per share.
- The shares of Maridive & oil services sank by 3.90 per cent, to close at 0.394 pounds per share.
