Egypt’s stock exchange (EGX) closed green on Monday, with the main index, EGX30 climbing by 3.90 per cent, to 29,616.47 points.
The small to mid-size enterprises’ index, EGX70 jumped by 2.36 per cent, to 6,696.15 points.
The index, EGX100 index soared by 2.93 per cent, to 9,584.51 points.
EGX halting trading from 9 to 14 April 2024 on the occasion of the Eid El-Fitr.
The total market cap reached 1,994,812,869,479 Egyptian pounds.
The Egyptians and Arabs were net sellers with 1,922,978,542 Egyptian pounds, and 878,693,260 Egyptian pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, Non-Arab foreigners transactions were mainly buying with 2,801,671,802 Egyptian pounds.

The shares of Qalaa for Financial Investments (CCAP.CA – CCAPP.CA) rose by 19.64 per cent, to close at the price of 3.290 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of Arabian Cement Company (ARCC.CA) climbed by 13.48 per cent, to trade at the price of 13.890 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of Arab Aluminum (ALUM.CA) jumped by 12.77 per cent, to the purchasing price of 14.920 Egyptian pounds a share.

The shares of Delta for Printing & Packaging (DTPP.CA) fell by 15.53 per cent, to close at 35.420 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of Concrete Fashion Group for Commercial & Industrial Investment (CFGH.CA) declined by 6.56 per cent, to close at 0.057 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of Osool ESB Securities Brokerage (EBSC.CA) dropped by 5.60 per cent, to close at the price of 0.320 Egyptian pounds a share.
