Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed in green on Monday.
The main index, EGX30 went up by 0.73 per cent, to 27,969.59 points.
The Shariah index, EGX33 jumped by 0.98 to 2,762.94 points.
The small to mid-size enterprises’ index, EGX70 climbed by 0.86 per cent, to 6,247.27 points.
The index, EGX100 index surged by 0.96 per cent, to 9,071.39 points.
The total market cap reached 1,891,669,363,647 Egyptian pounds.
The Egyptians and Arabs were net buyers with 6,207,336,579 Egyptian pound, and 396,830,374 Egyptian pound, respectively. Meanwhile, the Non-Arab Foreigners transactions were mainly sellers with 6,604,166,954 Egyptian pound.
Top gainers on Monday
- The shares of The Egyptian Company for Construction Development-Lift Slab (EDBM.CA) rose by 15.86 per cent, to close at the price of 0.336 Egyptian pound a share.
- The shares of AJWA for Food Industries company – Egypt (AJWA.CA) climbed by 15.09 per cent, to trade at the price of 57.970 Egyptian pound a share.
- The shares of GB Corp (GBCO.CA) jumped by 9.92 per cent, to the purchasing price of 15.620 Egyptian pound a share.
Top losers on Monday
- The shares of Egyptian Arabian(Themar)Comp. For Securities & Bonds Brok. EAC (EASB.CA) fell by 4.93 per cent, to close at 2.890 Egyptian pound a share.
- The shares of International Co For Investment & Development (ICID.CA) declined by 3.83 per cent, to close at 3.260 Egyptian pound a share.
- The shares of Samad Misr -EGYFERT (SMFR.CA) dropped by 2.92 per cent, to close at the price of 44.210 Egyptian pound a share.
