EGX closes in green area on 15 Oct.

Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed green area on Wednesday.

  • The benchmark index, EGX30, went up by 0.52 per cent, to 37,654.04 points.
  • The Shariah index, EGX33, advanced by 0.24 per cent, to 3,785.77 points.
  • The EGX35-LV index rose by 0.58 per cent to 4,155.96 points
  • The SMEs index, EGX70, moved up by 0.94 per cent to 11,566.16 points.
  • The EGX100 index gained 0.73 per cent to 15,273.29 points.

The total market capitalisation reached 2,679,090,984,241 Egyptian pounds.

Egyptians and Arabs were net buyers with a total of 14,466,073,150 pounds and 1,372,374,407 pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, non-Arab foreigners were net sellers with a total of 15,838,447,557 pounds.
