Egypt’s stock exchange (EGX) closed all green on Sunday, with the main index, EGX30 going up by 0.33 per cent to 31,038.41 points.
The Shariha index, EGX33 surged by 0.79 per cent to 2,978.99 points.
The small to mid-size enterprises’ index, EGX70 jumped by 1.89 per cent, to 7,234.73 points.
The EGX100 index rose by 1.63 per cent, to 10,335.77 points.
The total market cap reached 2,105,101,527,401 Egyptian pounds.
The Egyptian and Arab investors were net buyers with total of 2,495,824,794 Egyptian pound, and 111,284,661 Egyptian pound, respectively. Meanwhile, Non-Arab Foreigners were net sellers with a total of 2,607,109,455 Egyptian pound.
Top gainers on Sunday
- Alexandria New Medical Center shares plunged by 19.94 per cent, to close at 12.030 Egyptian pound a share.
- Cairo Educational Services shares climbed by 19.57 per cent, to trade at the price of 24.750 Egyptian pound a share.
- CI Capital Holding For Financial Investments shares inched up by 13.48 per cent, to the purchasing price of 5.810 Egyptian pound a share.
Top losers on Sunday
- Osool ESB Securities Brokerage shares plunged by 5.23 per cent, to close at 0.399 Egyptian pound a share.
- October Pharma shares went down by 4.74 per cent, to close at 133.680 Egyptian pound a share.
- Reacap Financial Investments shares dropped by 4.41 per cent, to close at the price of 6.510 Egyptian pound a share.
