EGX closes in green on June 25

Egypt’s stock market closed in the green area on Tuesday.

The main index, EGX30 went up by 1.34 per cent, to 27,264.23 points.

The Shariah index, EGX33 climbed by 1.86 per cent to 2,710.34 points.

The small to mid-size enterprises’ index, EGX70 soared by 0.56 per cent, to 6,143.97 points.

The index, EGX100 index jumped by 0.93 per cent, to 8,890.23 points.

The total market cap reached 1,853,176,186,912 Egyptian pound.

The Egyptians and Arabs were net buyers with 614,553,505 Egyptian pound, and 297,915,549 Egyptian pound, respectively. Meanwhile, the Non-Arab Foreigners were net sellers with a total of 912,469,054 Egyptian pounds.

Top gainers on Tuesday

  1. The shares of Egyptian Gulf Marseilia For Real Estate Investment (MAAL.CA) climbed by 16.03 per cent, to close at 3.620 Egyptian pound a share.
  2. The shares of GB Corp (GBCO.CA) jumped by 15.81 per cent, to close at 14.800 Egyptian pound a share.
  3. The shares of Egypt for Poultry (EPCO.CA) surged by 8.09 per cent, to close at the price of 3.340 Egyptian pound a share.

Top losers on Tuesday

  1. The shares of Rights Issue Of Sinai Cement -2 (SCEM_r2.CA) declined by 16.47 per cent, to close at the price of 0.350 Egyptian pounds a share.
  2. The shares of Engineering Industries (ICON) (ENGC.CA) fell by 5.67 per cent, to trade at the price of 18.970 Egyptian pounds a share.
  3. The shares of Integrated Diagnostics Holdings plc (IDHC.CA) dropped by 5.00 per cent, to the purchasing price of 19.000 Egyptian pounds a share.
