Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed red on Monday. The main index, EGX30 dropped by 1.67 per cent, to 28,144.22 points.
The small to mid-size enterprises’ index, EGX70 went down by 1.08 per cent, to 6,544.86 points.
The index, EGX100 index sunk by 1.31 per cent, to 9,284.17 points.
The total market cap reached 1,904,583,938,485 Egyptian pounds.
The Arabs and Non-Arabs Foreigners were net buyers with 296,824,554 Egyptian pounds, and 365,670,603 Egyptian pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, the Egyptians’ transactions were mainly selling with 662,495,157 Egyptian pounds.
Top gainers on Monday
The shares of Golden Textiles & Clothes Wool (GTWL.CA) rose by 19.99 per cent, to close at the price of 32.710 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of Egyptian for Tourism Resorts (EGTS.CA) climbed by 10.04 per cent, to trade at the price of 5.590 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of Ibnsina Pharma (ISPH.CA) jumped by 5.84 per cent, to the purchasing price of 2.900 Egyptian pounds a share.
Top losers on Monday
The shares of Medical Packaging Company (MEPA.CA) fell by 6.99 per cent, to close at 1.477 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of Telecom Egypt (ETEL.CA) declined by 5.16 per cent, to close at 34.900 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of Credit Agricole Egypt (CIEB.CA) dropped by 4.70 per cent, to close at the price of 20.490 Egyptian pounds a share.
