Egypt’s stock market (EGX) declined at the close of trading on Monday.
The main index, EGX30 went down by 0.78 per cent, to 30,260.24 points.
The Shariah index, EGX33, went down by 1.02 per cent to 2884.43 points.
The small to mid-size enterprises’ index, EGX70 fell by 0.45 per cent, to 7061.16 points.
The index, EGX100 index sunk by 0.51 per cent, to 10079.58 points.
The total market cap reached 2,055,081,068,320 Egyptian pound.
Egyptians and Arabs were net sellers with a total of 875,692,197 Egyptian pound, and 101,753,042 Egyptian pound, respectively. On the other hand, Non-Arab Foreigners were net buyers with 977,445,239 Egyptian pound.
Risers on Monday
- The shares of Alexandria National Company for Financial Investment rose by 19.99 per cent, to close at the price of 26.470 Egyptian pound a share.
- The shares of Egyptian Arabian (Themar) Comp. For Securities & Bonds Brok. EAC climbed by 19.86 per cent, to trade at the price of 5.070 Egyptian pound a share.
- The shares of El Kahera El Watania Investment jumped by 19.77 per cent, to the purchasing price of 38.770 Egyptian pound a share.
Fallers on Monday
- The shares of Copper For Commercial Investment & Real Estate Development fell by 9.05 per cent, to close at 0.432 Egyptian pound a share.
- The shares of Upper Egypt Flour Mills declined by 8.18 per cent, to close at 168.720 Egyptian pound a share.
- The shares of Rubex International for Plastic and Acrylic Manufacturing dropped by 6.41 per cent, to close at the price of 7.150 Egyptian pound a share.
