The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed mixed on Monday.
- The main index, EGX30, went up by 0.57 percent to 42,305.36 points.
- The Shariah index, EGX33, advanced by 0.60 to 4,479.5 points.
- The EGX35-LV index dropped by 0.13 per cent, to 4,644.2 points.
- The SMEs index, EGX70 fell by 0.03 per cent to 13,007.25 points
- The EGX100 index surged by 0.03 per cent to 17,236.7 points.
Egypt’s cap market reached 2,981,254,746,953 Egyptian pounds.
The Arabs and non-Arab foreigners were net buyers with a total of 236,490,061 Egyptian pounds and 4,122,290,079 Egyptian pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, the Egyptians were net sellers with 4,358,780,140 Egyptian pounds.
Top Gainers
- The shares of Alexandria National Company for Financial Investment went up by 9.12 to close at 60.760 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of El Kahera El Watania Investment soared by 6.23 per cent, closing at 70.960 per share.
- The shares of El Nasr For Manufacturing Agricultural Crops went up by 5.00 per cent, to close at 47.070 Egyptian pounds per share.
Top Losers
- The shares Grand Investment Capital went down by 5.46 per cent, to close at 31.020 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of Arabia for Investment and Development sank by 4.78 per cent to close at 0.498 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of Engineering Industries (ICON) fell by 3.91 per cent closing at 35.890 Egyptian pounds a share.
