Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed mixed on Monday.
- The benchmark index, EGX30, went up by 1.39 per cent to 47,507.43 points.
- The Shariah index, EGX33, soared by 0.67 per cent to 4,969.28 points.
- The index EGX35-LV jumped by 0.76 per cent to 4,897.53 points.
- The SMEs index, EGX70, sank by 0.63 per cent, to 12,636.73 points.
- The EGX100 index dropped by 0.17 per cent, to 17,283.05 points.
The total market cap reached 3,174,697,871,764 Egyptian pounds.
The Arabs and non-Arab foreigners were net buyers with 524,194,840 Egyptian pounds and 2,190,336,279 Egyptian pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, the Egyptians were net sellers with 2,714,531,119 Egyptian pounds.
Top gainers on Monday
- The shares of Gulf Canadian Real Estate Investment Co. rose by 14.48 per cent, to close at the price of 1.660 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of Fawry For Banking Technology And Electronic Payment climbed by 7.12 per cent, closing at the price of 17.600 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of Raya Holding For Financial Investments jumped by 6.28 per cent, to the purchasing price of 4.400 Egyptian pounds a share.
Top losers on Monday
- The shares of Prime Holding fell by 6.64 per cent, to close at 2.110 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of Nasr Company for Civil Works declined by 6.18 per cent, to close at 5.010 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of Elsaeed Contracting& Real Estate Investment Company SCCD dropped by 5.96 per cent, to close at the price of 1.420 Egyptian pounds a share.
