Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed mixed on Wednesday, February 12, 2025.
The main index, EGX30 went up by 0.33 per cent, to 29,661.99 points.
The Shariah index, EGX33, rose by 0.18 per cent, to 3,103.77 points.
The SMEs index, EGX70 dropped by 0.14 per cent, to 8,330.53 points.
The index, EGX100 index soared by 0.02 per cent, to 11,405.26 points.
The total market cap reached 2,189,185,690,855 Egyptian pounds.
The Arabs and Non-Arab Foreigners were net sellers with a total of 150,814,796 Egyptian pounds and 1,899,940,163 Egyptian pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, the Egyptians were net buyers with a total of 2,050,754,959 Egyptian pounds.
Top gainers on Wednesday
- Cairo Oils & Soap shares rose by 8.42 per cent, to close at the price of 0.412 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The Egyptian Modern Education Systems shares climbed by 6.28 per cent, to trade at the price of 0.440 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Credit Agricole Egypt shares jumped by 5.01 per cent, to the purchasing price of 19.700 Egyptian pounds a share.
Top losers on Wednesday
- Saudi Egyptian Investment & Finance shares fell by 9.91 per cent, to close at 64.670 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Gogreen for Agricultural Investment shares dropped by 8.51 per cent, to close at the price of 1.290 Egyptian pounds a share.
- El Nasr For Manufacturing Agricultural Crops shares declined by 4.93 per cent, to close at 27.000 Egyptian pounds a share.
