Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed on a green note on Tuesday, July 22, 2025.
- The main index, EGX30 went down by 0.96 per cent, to 33,803.34 points.
- The Shariah index, EGX33, dropped by 0.88 per cent to 3,481.29 points.
- The SMEs index, EGX70 rose by 0.09 per cent, to 10,263.32 points.
- The index, EGX100 index sank by 0.22 per cent, to 13,846.1 points.
The total market cap reached 2,398,975,897,149 Egyptian pounds.
The Arabs and Non-Arab Foreigners were net buyers with a total of 6,269,289,098 Egyptian pounds and 6,398,981,904 Egyptian pounds, respectively. On the other hand, Egyptians were sellers with 12,668,271,002 Egyptian pounds.
Top Gainers
- Acrow Misr shares went up by 17.13 per cent to 80.010 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Alexandria National Company for Financial Investment shares rose by 13.76 per cent to close at 31.500 per cent a share.
- Egyptian Financial & Industrial shares jumped by 12.24 per cent, closing at 254.230 Egyptian pounds.
To losers
- Golden Textiles & Clothes Wool shares dropped by 11.53 per cent to 38.820 Egyptian pounds at closing.
- Certificates Of Odin Egyptian Equity Investment Fund-KASAB shares fell by 8.55 per cent to close at 6.100 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Egyptians Real Estate Fund Certificates share sank by 6.59 per cent closing at 14.460 Egyptian pounds a share.
