Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed mixed on Monday.
The main index, EGX30 went down by 0.59 per cent, to 26,902.4 points.
The Shariah index, EGX33 sunk by 0.62 to 2,660.88 points.
The small to mid-size enterprises’ index, EGX70 climbed by 0.11 per cent, to 6,109.78 points.
The index, EGX100 index fell by 0.03 per cent, to 8,808.14 points.
The total market cap reached 1,831,960,361,021 Egyptian pounds.
The Arabs and Non-Arab Foreigners were net buyers with 463,349,516 Egyptian pounds, and 268,555,531 Egyptian pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, the Egyptians’ transactions were mainly sellers with 731,905,046 Egyptian pounds.
Top gainers on Monday
- The shares of Extracted Oils (ZEOT.CA) rose by 13.58 per cent, to close at the price of 2.133 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of Cairo Oils & Soap (COSG.CA) climbed by 11.52 per cent, to trade at the price of 0.213 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of El Ahli Investment and Development (AFDI.CA) jumped by 7.13 per cent, to the purchasing price of 27.050 Egyptian pounds a share.
Top losers on Monday
- The shares of Rights Issue Of Al Tawfeek Leasing Company – A.T.LEASE -2 (ATLC_r2.CA) fell by 12.94 per cent, to close at 1.009 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of Middle & West Delta Flour Mills (WCDF.CA) declined by 10.30 per cent, to close at 247.460 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of M.B Engineering (MBEN.CA) dropped by 7.66 per cent, to close at the price of 1.386 Egyptian pounds a share.
