The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed mixed on Wednesday.
The main index, EGX30, went up by 0.30 percent to 32,493.89 points.
The Shariah index, EGX33 dropped by 0.07 to 3,342.37 points.
The SMEs index, EGX70 fell by 0.46 per cent to 9,471.42 points.
The EGX100 index went down by 0.37 per cent to 12,914.67 points.
Egypt’s cap market reached 2,285,914,851,850 Egyptian pounds.
The Arabs and Non-Arab Foreigners were net buyers with 9,028,803 Egyptian pounds and 1,316,920,569 Egyptian pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, the Egyptians were net sellers with a total of 1,325,949,372 Egyptian pounds.
Top gainers on Thursday
- October Pharma shares went up by 16.35 per cent to close at 130.990 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Misr National Steel – Ataqa shares rose by 7.41 per cent, closing at 11.600 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The Egyptian Modern Education Systems shares soared by 7.09 per cent, to close at 0.468 Egyptian pounds a share.
Top losers on Thursday
- Egyptians Real Estate Fund Certificates shares went down by 14.19 per cent, closing at 9.310 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Upper Egypt Flour Mills shares fell by 10.17 to close at 376.040 Egyptian pounds.
- Northern Upper Egypt Development & Agricultural Production shares dropped by 4.35 per cent to, closing at 3.520 Egyptian pounds.
