Egypt’s stock market (EGX) ended in mixed notes on Tuesday.
- The benchmark index, EGX30 went down 0.73 per cent to 37,698.49 points.
- The Shariah index, EGX33 fell 0.38 per cent to 3,828.39 points.
- The EGX35-LV index dipped 0.06 per cent to 4,266.96 points.
- The SMEs index, EGX70rose 0.69 per cent to 11,972.31 points.
- The EGX100 index advanced 0.36 per cent to 15,699.32 points.
The total market capitalisation reached 2,728,335,094,572 Egyptian pounds.
Arabs and non-Arab foreigners were net buyers with a total of 3,768,114,172 pounds, and 2,496,368,167 pounds, respectively. On the other hand, Egyptians were net sellers with 6,264,482,338 pounds.
Top gainers
- Shares of October Pharma soared 20.00 per cent to 212.950 pounds a share.
- Shares of South Cairo, Giza Mills, and Bakeries jumped 20.00 per cent to 277.300 pounds a share.
- Shares of North Cairo Mills climbed 19.10 per cent to 147.530 pounds a share.
To losers
- Shares of Raya Customer Experience dived 5.45 per cent to 9.550 pounds a share.
- Shares of Egyptian Media Production City sank 3.97 per cent to 30.240 pounds a share.
- Shares of Gadwa For Industrial Development fell 3.94 per cent to 1.220 pounds a share.
