Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed mixed on Monday.
- The benchmark index, EGX30 inched 0.31 per cent lower to 37,094.8 points.
- The Shariah index, EGX33, fell by 0.21 per cent to 3,690.4 points.
- The index EGX35-LV advanced 0.26 per cent to 4,076.32 points.
- The SMEs index, EGX70 rose 0.33 per cent to 11,288.47 points.
- The EGX100 index added 0.20 per cent to 14,898.16 points.
The total market capitalisation reached 2,619,684,679,950 Egyptian pounds.
Arabs and non-Arab foreigners were net buyers with 73,474,793 pounds and 93,066,865 pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, Egyptians were net sellers with 166,541,658 pounds.
Top gainers
- Shares of Subscription Rights of Creast Mark for Contracting and Real Estate soared 25.71 per cent to 0.176 pounds a share.
- Shares of South Valley Cement climbed 9.06 per cent to 7.100 pounds a share.
- Shares of Extracted Oils jumped 8.24 per cent to 5.650 pounds a share.
Top losers
- Shares of GMC Group for Industrial Commercial and Financial Investments dived 4.71 per cent to 1.620 pounds a share.
- Shares of Egyptian Gulf Marseilia for Real Estate Investment sank 4.65 per cent to 3.900 pounds a share.
- Shares of Mansourah Poultry lost 3.79 per cent to 2.790 pounds a share.
