Egypt’s stock market closed mixed on Tuesday. The main index, EGX30 went down by 0.49 per cent, to 30,871.1 points.
The Shariah index, EGX33 rose by 0.69 per cent to 2,994.08 points.
The small to mid-size enterprises’ index, EGX70 jumped by 0.27 per cent, to 7,333.78 points.
The index, EGX100 index dropped by 0.10 per cent, to 10,427.45 points.
The total market cap reached 2,111,854,840,487 Egyptian pound.
The Arabs and Non-Arab foreigners were net sellers with 3,636,411,143 Egyptian pound, and 58,670,152 Egyptian pound, respectively. Meanwhile, The Egyptians were buyers with a total of 3,695,081,295 Egyptian pound.
Top gainers on Tuesday
- Alexandria New Medical Center (AMES.CA) shares climbed by 19.96 per cent, to close at 17.310 Egyptian pound a share.
- Taaleem Management Services (TALM.CA) shares jumped by 17.18 per cent, to close at 10.640 Egyptian pound a share.
- Egyptian Gulf Marseilia For Real Estate Investment (MAAL.CA) shares surged by 14.66 per cent, to close at the price of 3.520 Egyptian pound a share.
Top losers on Tuesday
- Delta For Printing & Packaging (DTPP.CA) shares declined by 10.05 per cent, to close at the price of 59.880 Egyptian pound a share.
- Cairo Educational Services (CAED.CA) shares fell by 5.32 per cent, to trade at the price of 28.120 Egyptian pound a share.
- South Valley Cement (SVCE.CA) shares dropped by 4.87 per cent, to the purchasing price of 2.930 Egyptian pound a share.
