EGX ends week mixed

Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed mixed on Thursday, with the main index, EGX30 going up by 0.76 per cent, to 30,141.08 points.

The Shariah index, EGX33, fell by 0.16 per cent to 2,848.1 points.

The small to mid-size enterprises’ index, EGX70 rose by 0.72 per cent, to 6,900.1 points.

The index, EGX100 index added 0.54 per cent, to 9,881.44 points.

The total market cap reached 2,068,616,181,249 Egyptian pounds.

The Arabs and non-Arab foreigners were net buyers with a total of 501,626,083 Egyptian pound, and 1,771,744,514 Egyptian pound, respectively. On the other hand, the Egyptians were net sellers with 2,273,370,597 Egyptian pound.

Risers

  1. The shares of Acrow Misr (ACRO.CA) rose by 20.00 per cent, to close at the price of 61.020 Egyptian pound a share.
  2. The shares of Tanmiya for Real Estate Investment (TANM.CA) climbed by 19.87 per cent, to trade at the price of 3.800 Egyptian pound a share.
  3. The shares of South Valley Cement (SVCE.CA) jumped by 19.83 per cent, to the purchasing price of 2.900 Egyptian pound a share.

Fallers

  1. The shares of Lecico Egypt (LCSW.CA) fell by 12.80 per cent, to close at 22.760 Egyptian pound a share.
  2. The shares of Sinai Cement (SCEM.CA) declined by 5.81 per cent, to close at 35.500 Egyptian pound a share.
  3. The shares of E-Finance For Digital and Financial Investments SAE (EFIH.CA) dropped by 4.68 per cent, to close at the price of 22.210 Egyptian pound a share.
