Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed mostly green on Thursday.
- The benchmark index, EGX30 went up 1 per cent to 49,078.6 points.
- The Shariah index, EGX33 climbed by 1.28 per cent to 5,276.18 points.
- The index EGX35-LV dropped by 0.02 per cent to 5,455.99 points.
- The SMEs index, EGX70 gained 0.19 per cent to 12,993.46 points.
- The EGX100 index leaped by 0.24 per cent to 18,187.73 points.
The total market cap reached 3,426,592,204,955 Egyptian pounds.
Arabs and non-Arab foreigners were net sellers, with total purchases of 826,406,405 pounds and 5,564,680,787 pounds, respectively. On the other hand, Egyptians were net buyers with 6,391,087,192 pounds
Top gainers
- The shares of Minapharm Pharmaceuticals went up by 20.00 per cent to 574.160 pounds a share.
- The shares of Subscription Rights Of Arab Developers Holding -2 rose by 12.70 per cent to close at 0.071 pounds a share.
- The shares of Cairo Pharmaceuticals jumped by 10.48 per cent, closing at 289.980 pounds a share.
Top losers
- The shares of Al Tawfeek Leasing Company-A.T.LEASE dropped by 5.31 per cent to 4.640 pounds a share.
- The shares of Al Khair River For Development Agricultural Investment&Envir fell by 5.04 per cent to close at 0.358 pounds a share.
- The shares of Digitize for Investment And Technology sank by 3.74 per cent, closing at 2.830 pounds a share.
