Egypt’s stock market closed in the green on Sunday. The main index EGX30 rose by 1.79 per cent to 25,974.84 points, while the small to mid-sized enterprises’ index, EGX70, climbed by 3.10 per cent to 6,140.08 points, and EGX100 jumped by 2.78 per cent to 8,714.99.
The market cap reached 1,817,470,357,943 Egyptian pounds.
The Arabs’ and foreigners’ transactions leaned towards buying with a net value of 31.9 million Egyptian pounds, and 59.1 million Egyptian pounds, respectively.
Meanwhile, the Egyptians’ transactions went with selling with a total of 90.9 million Egyptian pounds.
The end-of-day trade hit 4.1 billion pounds with a total amount of 1.5 billion securities executed in 169.97 thousand transactions.

The shares of Misr National Steel SAE (ATQA.CA) rose by 19.93 per cent, closing at 3.610 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of Iron and Steel for Mines and Quarries (ISMQ.CA) jumped by 19.70 per cent, to the price of 3.220 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of Mena Touristic and Real Estate Investment (MENA.CA) soared by 19.45 per cent, to close at 1.609 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of Raya Holding for Financial Investments (RAYA.CA) surged by 19.31 per cent, to reach 4.140 Egyptian pounds a share.

The shares of Nile Pharmaceuticals and Chemical Industries-Nile (NIPH.CA) dropped by 5.57 per cent, to close at the price of 78.470 a share.
The shares of Egyptian Arabian (Themar) Comp. For Securities & Bonds Brok. EAC (EASB.CA) fell by 4.94 per cent, to the price of 7.700 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of El Nasr Clothes & Textiles (Kabo.CA) were behind by 4.86 per cent, to close at the price of 3.330 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of El Arabia for Land Reclamation (EALR.CA) declined by 4.56 per cent, to close at the price of 33.090 Egyptian pounds a share.
