Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed red on Tuesday. The main index, EGX30 dropped by 0.01 per cent, to 27,224.8 points.
The small to mid-size enterprises’ index, EGX70 sunk by 0.21 per cent, to 5,912.58 points.
The index, EGX100 index dipped by 0.10 per cent, to 8,550.11 points.
The total market cap reached 1,841,632,900,178 Egyptian pounds.
The Arabs and Non-Arab Foreigners were net buyers with 7,821,726,736 Egyptian pounds, and 8,430,734,724 Egyptian pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, Egyptians were net sellers with a total of 16,252,461,459 Egyptian pounds.
Top gainers on Tuesday
- The shares of Maridive & Oil Services (MOIL.CA) climbed by 11.70 per cent, to close at 0.296 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of Egyptian Financial & Industrial (EFIC.CA) jumped by 7.76 per cent, to close at 80.820 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of Ezz Steel (ESRS.CA) surged by 7.17 per cent, to close at the price of 75.020 Egyptian pounds a share.
Top losers on Tuesday
- The shares of QALA For Financial Investments (CCAP.CA – CCAPP.CA) declined by 7.69 per cent, to close at the price of 2.400 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of GB Corp (GBCO.CA) fell by 4.83 per cent, to trade at the price of 11.440 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of GTEX For Commercial And Industrial (GTEX.CA) dropped by 4.76 per cent, to the purchasing price of 0.040 Egyptian pounds a share.
